Privacy

Short version: we don't collect personal information, we don't use tracking cookies, and nothing you type into a calculator, search box or checklist leaves your browser.

Calculators and search

All calculations, the site search and the scam checker run entirely on your device. The numbers and answers you enter are not sent to us or anyone else.

Stored on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key wic:theme). Live prices are kept for one minute in session storage (key wic:px), which your browser deletes when you close the tab. You can clear both at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We don't add analytics or advertising trackers.

Live prices

Pages that show live prices (the price pages, coin fact sheets, the home page and the price ticker) ask CoinGecko's public API for current prices directly from your browser. That request contains no personal information from us, but like any web request it reaches CoinGecko's servers with your IP address and browser details, and CoinGecko's privacy policy applies to it. Prices are kept in your browser for one minute so they aren't requested again on every page. Nothing you type into a calculator is ever sent.

Changes

If this ever changes (for example, if privacy-respecting analytics are added), this page will be updated first. Last updated October 26, 2026.
